Bruce MacKay grew up wanting to be either a helicopter pilot, racing driver, or an artist. The artist won. Bruce's love of aircraft was colored by his father who was a Flight Sergeant in 106 Squadron RAF Bomber Command during WW2. Inevitably, his love of painting and drawing took him to art school. The tutors couldn't understand why he continued to draw Lancasters, Spitfires and Mustangs surrounded as he was by flower-power. Bruce first indulged the great loves of his life as a London based automotive art director for more than 30 years. The numerous international photographic sessions he conducted honed his already considerable awareness of light.

-but very difficult when you do.'
